Is "Dimension summoning" a thing?
I'm not sure rather to ask if it ever was a think or still is a thing, but I've been finding little information about it. I found out about this when I came across a card called Crimson Nova The Dark Cubic Lord, that states it can be "dimension summoned" and "dimension summoning is described as "A Dimension Summon is a method of Summoning a monster from the hand without Tributing or paying a cost, featured in Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions and Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links. Unlike standard Summoning this type of Summon requires the Duelist to use spirit energy."
I never seen the movie, or any of the movies or even the anime series for that matter, and I probably played too little of Duel Links to actually notice--though I don't recall it ever being brought up in the tutorial, like how they talk about every other summoning methods.

Nope, only as an oddball event exclusive trait in Duel Links.

No, whenever they do events for DSoD in Duel Links they always have the whole Dimension Summoning thing otherwise it's not an actual thing it's just some random anime thing

maybe it's the anime stuffs where they directly summon the spirit of the card from spirit world haha
